2009-2011 International Placements

In partnership with the Congregation of St. Agnes, Cap Corps will have several opportunities in the coastal and city of Puerto Cabezas, Nicaragua.  In "Port", volunteers will have the chance to work with kids, developing after-school and extra-curricular activities at a Catholic school. 
Cantera, an NGO organization in Managua, will host several Cap Corps volunteers who are interested in economic development, environmental and farming work (including beekeeping, as seen here). 

Volunteers may also be placed in Tocumen, Panamá to work in pastoral ministry with the Capuchins.  Opportunities are available in youth and adult formation, community building and pastoral outreach at the Capuchin parish, San Pio.  Volunteers wtih construction and engineering expertise may also be placed in Wacuco, Panama to work with the St. Francis Natural Park Foundation. 
For the first time, Cap Corps will be placing volunteers in Lima, Peru at Ciudad de los Niños, a residential school for boys founded by and ministered to by Capuchins.  Volunteers will help to tutor, monitor dorms, and fit into the many vocational workshops offered by CDLN.
